Self Insertion Project

For this assignment I  found it very difficult to find two images in which i would insert myself. When i found my image of my fiance and I, i opened it in photoshop and began to trim away the background. I used the pen tool and created a path to get rid of most of the background. Then I used the other selection tools, lasso for smaller areas. But for the most part i used the pen tool i was more comfortable with it. I also used an eraser to get those finer details erased. Then, i dragged the photo into the pinkish background. I played around with the placement and lighting of both background and foreground. I thought this self insertion assignment was fun and it builds your confidence with photoshop.
