My Brother, My Brother (project 4 )

This was a fun project for me. As an art major I tend to lean toward realism, So  for this project I decided to do a portrait of my brother because his birthday is next month. I believed it turned out well. The main thing to keep in mind about using illustrator is to  stay organized and label your layers so that you know exactly what is on each layer, For this project I retrieved a photo of my brother and I placed it in Illustrator,  Next I traced the photo and drew the head, body, shadows and highlights all on different layers. Overall it was a long but rewarding process.
